Battlestar!

Michael is right. If you haven't been watching Battlestar Galactica, you're missing out on the best show currently on TV. Not a scifi fan? Don't worry. Neither is Mrs. Evil Monkey, and she's HOOKED. The show takes poignant current events and makes hella cool plots out of them. As Michael says, though, you have to watch it from the beginning. It starts out a little slow in the miniseries but just keeps getting better. By halfway through the first season, it really finds its footing.

It's smart, it's sexy, and it's on Netflix if you want to get caught up. Just keep in mind that Season 2 isn't the entirety of Season 2, only the first half.
