Caught on tape

If you haven't heard yet, Bush was caught on tape. No, not getting his winky whacked by an intern or gay internet prostitute.

A video surfaced of Bush teleconferencing into a meeting between Michael Brown, officials from Louisiana and Mississippi, and scientists from NOAA. A briefing. Warning of what Katrina would do when it made landfall. Of dangers like levees breaking. And the inadequacies of disaster plans like the Superdome.

All of which Bush told the American people he never heard before the hurricane.

Read about it here. Watch the video.

Then ask yourself-- is it really a stretch to lie to the American people about pretenses for war?
