The Catholic Church is full of bigoted assholes

Boston Catholic Charities Halts Adoptions - Yahoo! News

First line of the article says it all
BOSTON - The Boston Archdiocese's Catholic Charities said Friday it would stop providing adoption services because of a state law allowing gays and lesbians to adopt children.

    The ironic thing here is that the Catholic church, by limiting gay adoptions, is now depriving many kids of both fatherhood AND motherhood. Is this somehow better?I understand that they consider homosexuality a sin (as stupid as it seems) but how is it the deal-breaker and not liars, adulterers, etc. (also sins!). Can't say i'm surprised to read this though. Catholic hypocrisy strikes again.
